Travel within Doncaster is very easy, with extensive road links to and from business locations, and around the Borough. The modern transport interchange, which combines the rail station and new bus teminal, allows direct access to the town centre, making travel quick and convenient.

As well as the main Doncaster Railway Station within the Frenchgate Interchange, the Borough also has many smaller stations which are ideal for commuting into the town centre. These are as follows:
 
Adwick, Bentley, Conisbrough, Denaby, Kirk Sandall, Mexborough, Stainforth, Thorne North and Thorne South.

Travelling to and from Robin Hood Airport by public transport is made easy by its well-serviced road and rail links.
 
The airport is close to the M18, A1 (M), M62 and M1 motorways and has a catchment of four million people within a one-hour drive. A new M18 link road is currently under construction and is expected to be completed by early 2008.
 
A regular airport branded shuttle service, and several scheduled buses, transport passengers from Robin Hood Airport into Doncaster town centre. The Airport Arrow 707 service runs from the airport to just outside Doncaster’s Frenchgate Interchange, while the X19 service stops at the Interchange and then continues on to Barnsley.
 
From the Frenchgate Interchange, passengers can take advantage of direct rail links to many major cities including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds and Sheffield. There are also plans for a railway station at the airport, which will be situated on the Doncaster-Lincoln line.
