Robin Hood Airport (Business Parks)
Located 15 minutes from J3 of the M18, Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield is the UK’s newest airport with the capability to reach destinations all over the world. The site employs 7,000 people and brought in £80 million of public sector investment. The first flight was on the 28th April 2005, and the aim for the airport is to carry 2.33 million passengers and 62,000 tonnes of freight by 2014.

Airport Business Park
The airport has a 62 acre business park, benefiting from planning consent for almost two million square foot of development. The site is dedicated to aviation-related uses, and opportunities exist for new build office and industrial/distribution units ranging from 7,500 sq. ft. to 260,000 sq. ft.
Wright Investments was first to build on site, constructing a 10,000 sq. ft. design and build development named Unit 21 which is currently available to let.
Delta Court
| Build details | Developed by Priority Sites, Delta Court includes hybrid and industrial accommodation. Phase One comprises 10 units and was completed in 2007. There are plans for a Phase Two, which will include 6 units. |

Other Facilities
Directions Finningley - Aviation, Employment & Training Academy
Sited in a 55,000 sq. ft. hangar close to both the runway and the terminal building, this facility enables students to undertake training from cabin crew skills to aircraft maintenance.
Hotel
A new Ramada Encore hotel is currently under construction near the airport, which will have approximately 100 bedrooms. It is being built by Peel Holdings and is due for completion by the end of 2008.
Passenger Terminal
The terminal totals 145,000 sq. ft., and can be easily expanded should the need arise.
Runway
The runway at Robin Hood Airport is nearly two miles long and 60 metres wide. This is 15 metres wider than runways at the majority of other UK airports.
