Capitol Park (Thorne)
Capitol Park is located off J6 of the M18, which allows easy access to the M18, M62 and M180. The site is already home to companies such as BMW Ltd, Cooper Lighting, Isotron, Trucks & Hydraulics, and Omega Plc.
Omega Plc expanded in 2002 and then again in 2006, going from 150,000 sq. ft. to 408,000 sq. ft. The company now employs around 200 staff.
The main Dixons site became vacant in 2005 and part of the site has been sold off. This will create two speculative developments of 140,000 sq. ft. and 80,000 sq. ft. The remainder of the site is currently vacant.
