Quay opens more offices at Lakeside
GMI Property Company, advised by DTZ, has completed construction of another Grade A office building at the South Quay office development on Doncaster Lakeside, and the new occupier has moved in.
Clyde Bergemann has relocated their offices after taking space, totalling 11,162 sq. ft., at the new development.
Clyde Bergemann Materials Handling Limited is a strategic business unit of the Clyde Bergemann Power Group Inc. This is an international group of companies focussed on the provision of clean energy solutions to the global power generation industry. Long established locally, the company has moved into South Quay to support their growth in export markets and enhance their brand image within Doncaster.
When fully complete, South Quay will comprise in excess of 100,000 sq ft, making it one of the largest office developments in Doncaster. All the buildings in the South Quay development front onto the scenic grounds of a fifty acre man made lake, the centrepiece of Doncaster Lakeside.
Eamon Fox, from DTZ, comments: “This is the finest office scheme in Doncaster and it is attracting the best of the region. In addition to Clyde Bergemann, South Quay has sold one of the buildings to housing regeneration firm Keepmoat Plc. Building on this success, GMI Property Company has now completed a third building at South Quay which is able to accommodate occupier requirements from 2,500 sq ft upwards and has had a significant level of interest on both a freehold and leasehold basis.”
Eamon Fox continues: “Occupiers are demanding more from their buildings in today’s market and this latest letting emphasises the quality of the product provided at South Quay. We have no doubt that the remaining building will not be on the market for long.”
