Conisbrough Castle
Conisbrough Castle is considered to be one of the finest examples of Medieval architecture in the North of England and was even the inspiration for Sir Walter Scott’s classic novel, ‘Ivanhoe’. The castle’s keep offers breath-taking views of the surrounding unspoilt countryside - from the television mast on Emley Moor in the west, to the docks at Goole in the east.
