Budding exporters joined members of the Invest in Doncaster team this week for an informal event at Doncaster College on exporting for Doncaster businesses.

The event was very positively received particularly a presentation by Tomas and Linda Torstensson of Tickhill based Kozi Kidz who told their experiences in setting up and internationalising their business and some of the pit falls in selecting a suitable name and brand.

Further presentations at the event came from Richard Wrigley of Beta Technology and Jo Hubbard of UKTI.

Networking played a key part in the event valuable links were made by business owners that attended the event along with other Doncaster organisations.

This was the first in a series of events aimed at supporting businesses that are looking to export for the first time and existing exporters looking at new markets.
