Management Development Programme for the Manufacturing Sector

The Managing for Success Programme is a unique leadership and management programme, specifically designed to support the development of Managers and Supervisors across the Yorkshire and Humber Manufacturing sector.
The ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) accredited Programme provides the rights skills for them to supervise their teams, solve problems and make those tough everyday decisions.
The Programme has been developed by SEMTA (Sector Skills Council for science, engineering and manufacturing technologies in the UK) and NSAM (National Skills Academy for Manufacturing) and to date has supported over 100 Managers and Supervisors from the Sector.
Subject to eligibility criteria, funding may be available to significantly reduce the cost of the Programme.
Managing for Success includes 8 workshops covering Understanding and managing yourself; Business Strategy & KPID; Using interpersonal relationships to affect managerial performance; Developing and leading a successful team; Influencing organisation culture; Communication in management; and Coaching to improve performance.
In addition the Programme includes a Work based business improvement project, networking with like minded Managers from the Industry and ongoing Mentoring support.
