Police tap into Media Display's technology
South and North Police Constabularies have turned to Yorkshire firm Media Displays to target local communities with tailored messages to raise the profile of their activities.
The campaigns have seen the Wakefield-based company’s digital TV advertising vehicles being used to communicate positive messages about various activities in Doncaster suburbs, and to raise awareness of missing York woman, Claudia Lawrence.
In South Yorkshire, Media Displays was appointed by the Neighbourhood Alliance - a partnership group comprising South Yorkshire Police, the county’s local authorities and other community support organisations – to raise awareness of its activities by communicating good news stories in the Stainforth and Armthorpe areas of Doncaster.
Ian Taylor, managing director of Media Displays, commented: “Our recent activity in both North and South Yorkshire demonstrates the ability we have to bring a unique element to any communications campaign, and handle it in a sensitive, yet profile-raising, manner.”
