Business in the Spotlight
Date: Tuesday 7th February, Venue: CostCo Wholesale, Parkway Drive, Sheffield, S9 4WU
Time: 4 - 6pm
No man is an island; no-one in the 21st century business environment can afford not to have an up to date network of contacts to call upon.
Networking is an important activity to get right and if done properly, can have significant impact for ambitious people to develop their current and future relationships for the benefit of their organisation. For the individual and the organisation, it can have a massive effect on public profile and profitability.
For that reason, we serve the business community by staging regular "Business in the Spotlight" networking events, open to member and non-member businesses and representatives of the enterprise-support sector. This is your opportunity to get together with other organisations, network, buy, sell, and seek out joint trading collaborations. The "Business in the Spotlight" concept is supremely simple: there are no star guests, no keynote addresses, no after-dinner speeches.... just you and a hundred other organisations doing what you do best – spreading the word about your respective companies as you meet, mix and mingle.
Refreshments are provided throughout, and the event is entirely FREE OF CHARGE. "Business in the Spotlight" is open to all.... why not invite a friend!

Is your website important to your business?
Do you plan to grow your business through online marketing?
Do your clients struggle to find you on Google?
Are you confused by LinkedIn, Twitter & Blogs?
If you can answer yes to any of these questions then you need to come to this seminar.
Andy Roberts of Need More Clicks has 9 years online marketing experience, this seminar will give you the foundations you’ll need to get your website performing the way you want it to.
The internet is growing at a phenomenal pace and every business needs a website. However, having a nicely designed website isn’t enough – you need to be found. Once your clients have found your website you also need to make it compelling to them in such a way as to convert them, whether that be through getting them to sign up for a newsletter, download some product information or of course buy a product or service online.
This seminar will cover how you decide which keywords you should target, how you go about optimising your web pages and what you need to do outside of your website, in particular looking at social media such as Blogs, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
